Missouri Rep. Ann Wagner (R) put an end to speculation over a possible Senate run. In an interview released on Tuesday, the Republican congresswoman confirmed she did not plan to launch a bid for the U.S. Senate, but instead run for reelection in the state’s second district.
Wagner went on to add Missouri needed a fighter who would hold the Biden administration accountable. She slammed both Joe Biden and the Democrats for not supporting pro-life legislation, failing to hold China accountable for the pandemic and not securing the southern border.
“It is a crisis that is owned and created by Joe Biden,” she asserted. “He has got to do something to fix it.”

Wagner has held Missouri’s second congressional seat since 2013. She will be facing at least four other challengers in her 2022 bid for reelection.
