Far-left college professors rally around and protect
pedophile-defending, “gender-fluid” Old Dominion professor 1

The following contains editorial content which is the opinion of the author.

NORFOLK, VA- Pedophile supporters of the country, unite! At least that seems to be the case as far-left American Marxist college professors from across the county are circling the wagons in defense of an obviously confused Old Dominion University professor who was rightfully put on leave after coming out in defense of pedophiles, Breitbart reports.

Of as he/she calls them, “minor-attracted persons” in order to “destigmatize” them.

The professor who is a biological female who now goes by the name of Allyn Walker, made the sick claim that attraction to children “is not always immoral.”

In a petition being circulated to reinstate Walker, they petitioners claim the outrage against him/her is “based on nothing more than misinformation and stigma, all fueled by some individuals’ desire to virtue-signal their hatred of pedophilia rather than support evidence-backed child protection initiatives and research.”

Actually, it’s fueled by the fact that adults who are sexually attracted to children are depraved scumbags who need to be locked up for an exceptionally long time.

Continuing, the petition read:

“As a result, many members of the prevention community have taken to Twitter to express their disappointment at how the students and administration at Old Dominion University handled the situation.”

Included in the petition were a gaggle of “socially aware,” far-left loons who have no business teaching our sons and daughters, as follows:

  • Gilian Tenbergen, assistant professor of psychology at Oswego University, who wrote: “The willful ignorance of so many is just disturbing. No wonder so many of us are leaving Twitter and the field.” [actually, there are still plenty of lunatics on Twitter…she should feel at home there]
  • Maggie Ingram, postdoctoral fellow at the Johns Hopkins School of Public Health: I stand with Allyn Walker. They are not promoting adult-child sex…Attempting to silence researchers is unacceptable.”
  • Craig Harper, a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Psychology at Nottingham Trent University: The treatment of Allyn Walker on this platform [Twitter], on campus, and in the media, for doing nothing more than talking in relatively broad terms about a burgeoning research field, is nothing short of disgraceful.” [guess Harper hasn’t seen how conservatives are treated on Twitter]
  • Skye Stephens, associate professor of psychology at Saint Mary’s University: “V[ery] frustrated to see the media coverage of Allyn Walker and the response of ODU to place them on administrative leave. The crux of what Walker writes…is widely accepted in the field.” [hence our statement about crazy people teaching at universities]
  • Michael Seto, Forensic Research Director at the University of Ottawa’s Institute for Mental Health Research: “I’m further dismayed that [Old Dominion University] chose to reward the public backlash instead of defending the academic freedom of one of their faculty.”

Wonder if Seto feels the same way about those who speak out about matters such as Critical Race Theory on campus? Our guess is probably not.

The online petition continued to “call on the administration of Old Dominion University to stand with researchers and experts in the face of misinformation and hate.”

“Put academic freedom before profits and optics,” the petition said. “Reinstate Professor Allyn Walker to their position.”

A number of others took to social media to express their disagreement with the university’s decision, including producer Luke Malone (whoever that is), who actually claimed that Walker is actually trying to “prevent child abuse” by attempting to “destigmatize” pedophilia, which is laughable.

Malone claims that by “reducing stigma around people with an unwanted attraction toward minors,” it would actually encourage them to seek help thereby reducing “the likelihood of offending,” and therefore preventing “child sexual abuse.”

Another sicko named Michael Bailey tweeted that “attraction to children isn’t immoral,” adding “we can’t help what/whom we’re attracted to.” Dear God.

A couple more tweets defending her/him:

One user claimed that “attraction is not action,” claiming that “pedophilia and child sexual abuse are not the same.”

This is America, 2021. We’re doomed.

DIG DEEPER

NORFOLK, VA- Just think…parents pay around $30,000 a year (give or take a few thousand) for this garbage.

What garbage you may ask?

How about a professor at Old Dominion University in Norfolk, Virginia who came out in defense of pedophiles…oops, apparently now they’re called “minor-attracted persons.”

Sounds so much less harmful, huh? Lose the stigma attached to perverts attracted to children.

Allyn Walker, assistant professor of sociology and criminal justice wrote a book called A Long Dark Shadow: Minor Attracted People and Their Pursuit of Dignity to promote acceptance of pedophiles, Big League Politics reports. Walker, clearly a confused individual, believes that pedophile behavior can be “moral.”

“I use the term minor-attracted person or MAP in the title and throughout the book for multiple reasons,” Walker explained during a recent livestream.

“First of all, because I think it’s important to use terminology for groups that members of that group want others to use for them, and MAP advocacy groups like “Before You Act” have advocated for use of the term MAP. They’ve advocated for it primarily because it’s less stigmatizing than other terms like pedophile,” Walker said.

Before You Act (B4U-ACT) is a coalition of mental health professionals, as well as “people who are attracted to children” who seek to provide the “people who are attracted to children,” i.e. pedophiles with “compassionate assistance in dealing with the difficulties of living in society with an attraction to minors,” i.e. pedophiles.

Remember when some conservatives espoused the belief that gay marriage was only the first step and it was only a matter of time before the truly degenerate was going to be pushed as “normal?” Here you have it.

“A lot of people when they hear the term pedophile, they automatically assume it means a sex offender, [exactly] and that’s not true, and it leads to a lot of misconceptions about attractions toward minors. I’ve definitely heard the idea that you brought up through the use of the term minor-attracted person suggests that it’s okay to be attracted to children, but using a term that communicates who someone is attracted to doesn’t indicate anything about the morality of that attraction,” he added.

Walker, who is a female who believes she is a man, was conducting an interview with something called the Prostasia Foundation, a non-profit which claims to protect children with an approach that “combines [its] zero tolerance of child sexual abuse with [its] commitment to human and civil rights and sex positivity,” according to Campus Reform.

One of their main advocacy efforts is allegedly to fight against laws that ban sex dolls which are designed to look like children. Yet according to Big League Politics, Prostasia facilitates “support clubs” that give pedophiles intimate access to 13-year-old kids.

Walker continued, “From my perspective, there is no morality or immorality attached to attraction to anyone because no one can control who they’re attracted to at all,” Walker said. “In other words, it’s not who we’re attracted to that’s either okay or not, okay. It’s our behaviors and responding to that attraction that are either okay or not okay.”

As Big League Politics noted, based on Walker’s comments she is clearly advocating for pedophiles and seeks to mainstream child-molesting pedophiles into the LGBTQXYZ movement.

“Non-offending MAPs by definition do not abuse children so their behaviors are moral, but they’re still being subjected to this same idea that they’re bad people,” Walker said.

“Stigma against MAPs is a problem in part because it makes MAPs think that they’re monsters [true]. That’s really problematic in terms of MAP well-being. It’s really hard to cope because you think you’re a terrible person because you have attractions you can’t change,” she said.

For more on college indoctrination, we invite you to read a prior report we filed:

DIG DEEPER

PRINCETON, NJ- The indoctrination of our college youth continues, this time at Princeton University (no surprise there) where students can take a course called “#BlackLivesMatter.” The class will teach students about the growth of the Marxist movement while reading from an avowed Marxist, according to The College Fix.

“This seminar traces the historical roots and growth of the Black Lives Matter social movement in the United States and comparative global context,” the course description reads.

One of the texts students will read is by Marxist Angela Davis, a terrorist with the Black Panthers who provided weapons used in the kidnapping and eventual killing of a federal judge. She was also given an award by the former Communist country of East Germany in 1979, the “Lenin Peace Prize.”

Davis came into prominence in the 1960s as leader of the Communist Party USA and had the “honor” of being the second black woman to accede to the FBI’s Ten Most Wanted List for her role in the death of Judge Harold Haley in a courtroom shootout.

Breitbart notes the course description goes on to describe BLM as well as the course as “committed to resisting, unveiling and undoing histories of state-sanctioned violence against black and brown bodies.” You know, kind of like Critical Race Theory.

It continues that the course will offer “a critical examination of the prison industrial complex, police brutality, urban poverty and white supremacy in the US.”

The course is being taught by a far-left radical professor, Hanna Garth who is a self-described committed advocate of critical race theory, an ideology which teaches the United States is “fundamentally racist,” and every social interaction must be viewed in terms of race in order to be an “antiracist.”

“All my research, teaching, and mentoring is designed around my commitment to feminist methodologies and criminal race theory,” the radical leftist explains on her personal website.

Garth’s interests include long walks on the beach, looking at the stars…wait, who are we kidding? Her interests include all the hot-button leftist issues—”inequality, race and racism, social justice and activism,” her website says.

The College Fix said they reached out to Garth via email, asking for her definition of white supremacy, what she hoped students would take from her “class,” and a copy of the course’s syllabus.

Hoping to contact someone, The Fix reached out to Patricia Lieb, department spokesperson who didn’t reply but an automated reply was received that said to contact a woman named Carol Zanca.

Zanca, an administrator in the anthropology department at Princeton didn’t return an emailed request for comment from The College Fix.

For an examination into Garth’s mindset, one need only look at a book she wrote called “Black Food Matters: Racial Justice in the Wake of Food Justice,” which actually examines “Black food and the challenges it faces today.” Yes, food is apparently racist. Given recent events, when students at the University of Wisconsin-Madison called a rock racist, this is hardly surprising.

A summary of the book says, “For black Americans, the food system is broken. When it comes to nutrition, black consumers experience an unjust and inequitable distribution of resources.”

Continuing, it says the book is a “comprehensive look at black food culture and the various forms of violence that threaten the future of this cuisine, Black Food Matters centers blackness in a field that has too often framed black issues through a white-centric lens, offering new ways to think about access, privilege, equity and justice,” the summary said.

Clearly, these people have way too much time on their hands.

What else is Garth’s claim to fame? She has taught courses on “Postcolonial and Decolonial Theory,” “Race and Racisms,” and “Anthropological Perspectives on the Human Body,” according to her personal website.

Garth has recently looked at the connection between food systems, inequalities and overall health, studying “how food scarcity and reduced access to affordable food influence individual distress, and household and community dynamics.”

If that’s the case, she must be thrilled with the Biden administration’s driving up food prices over the past seven months, some health areas which have increased by double-digit amounts.

Parents have finally awoken to the Marxist critical race theory being taught now in grades K-12 and are none to happy about it. According to Fox News, more than two dozen states have introduced legislation banning its introduction in public schools.

Critics of the Marxist ideology claim that teaching it is divisive and encourages students to view people through the lens of race rather than judging them as individuals.

In other words, it’s the anti-Martin Luther King way of looking at things. Instead of judging people by the content of their character rather than the color of their skin, critical race theory does precisely the opposite. It teaches that whites, by virtue of how they are born are oppressors, while blacks, also by the same virtue are oppressed. It’s an evil ideology intended to divide.

Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis (R) has been one of the leading voices speaking out in opposition to this evil philosophy.

“Some of this stuff is, I think, really toxic,” DeSantis said. Florida banned the teaching of this ideology in June.

“I think it’s going to cause a lot of divisions. I think it’ll cause people to think of themselves mor as a member of particular race based on skin color, rather than based on the content of their character and based on their hard work and what they’re trying to accomplish in life.”

In case you missed it, we recently reported on Cornell University, which admitted being on “stolen land” but didn’t offer to give it back. For more on that, we invite you to:

DIG DEEPER

The following article contains editorial content written by a retired Chief of Police and current staff writer for Law Enforcement Today.

ITHACA, NY- Remember—parents of Cornell University students pay just over $60,000 per year in tuition, plus fees, housing, meals and books. What do you receive for the four-year total of over a quarter-million dollars? Liberal lunacy.

The latest foray into the land of wokedom is something called a “land acknowledgment.”

This is not necessarily a new idea, but suddenly the virtue signaling social justice warriors have gone about feeling the need to “engage with the realities and challenges of oppression,” in particular how “systemic issues, including racism, oppression and marginalization” have impacted people of color, as well as indigenous people.

According to The Spectator, Cornell has now jumped on the woke train. During the Spring 2021 commencement ceremony, a statement was read during which the announcer recognized “the university’s place on the traditional homeland of the Gayogo ho:no’, or Cayuga Nation.”

On Cornell’s website, the University acknowledged the Cayuga “are members of the Haudenosaunee Confederacy, an alliance of six sovereign Nations with a historic and contemporary presence on this land. The Confederacy precedes the establishment of Cornell University, New York state, and the United States of America.”

The statement then went on to recognize the “painful history” of the members and “honor the ongoing connection” of them, “past and present to these lands and waters.”

Oh, and the acknowledgment was “reviewed and approved” by the leadership of the members.

As the Spectator asks, what exactly is the purpose of such a statement? Well mostly it’s about virtue signaling; to show how down with the revolution they are. Because clearly, if anyone was indeed victimized, they are no longer here.

In fact, not only are the victims not here now, but Cornell also didn’t even exist back then.

And of course Cornell has offered to return the land and everything on it to the Cayuga’s, right? After all, as The Spectator notes, if the land the university is on had remained with the Cayuga’s, the university would never have been built there, or they would have realized the proceeds from the sale.

The answer to the question is, of course Cornell hasn’t offered to give the land and all the infrastructure thereon to the Cayuga’s. As The Spectator said, “We’re not supposed to have this; you are. But we’re gonna keep it.” Maybe also add, “but we feel your pain and we wrote a nice virtue-signaling statement. You’re welcome.”

In a statement to The Sun, an alumnus of the college, Corey Ryan Earle, was down with the virtue signal:

The story of indigenous communities is part of the story of Cornell University, even though it’s often been left out of official histories in the past.”

The statement was the first in the school’s 156-year history, The Spectator said.

A former American Indian and Indigenous Studies Program (AIISP) Director, Prof. Jolene Rickard praised the university’s new wokeness:

“I thought it was an important gesture by institutions to signal their awareness about several ongoing conditions of settler complacency, or settler innocence, to how the spaces that we work in and live in, in countries like the United States, actually came into existence.”

She continued:

“I hope it inspires the recognition that almost every place you go in the world, there are indigenous peoples that need to be taken into consideration in terms of how you’re working in development, and how you’re planning.”

Cornell, as might be expected is not the only woke educational institution there is. There are plenty out there.

Example from the San Diego Unified School District, as reported by Christopher Rufo, which offered “racial awareness training” to the district’s teachers:

The training begins with a “land acknowledgment,” in which the teachers are asked to accept that they are colonizers living on stolen Native American land. Then they are told they will experience “guilt, anger, apathy, [and] closed-mindedness” because of their “white fragility.”

And of course, since these teachers were “colonizers living on stolen Native American land,” they also gave up their houses and vacation homes, right? Nope.

In Raleigh, North Carolina, the Wake County Public School system incorporated a land acknowledgment into a Critical Race Theory indoctrination, er training. According to City-Journal:

The February 2020 conference, attended by more than 200 North Carolina public school teachers, began with a ‘land acknowledgment,’ a ritual recognition suggesting that white North Carolinians are colonizers on stolen Native American land.

Finally in Washington State, last year the state’s largest school system told educators:

We would like to acknowledge that we are on the ancestral lands and traditional territories of the Puget Sound Coast Salish People.

Of course, they’re not turning that land back over to said Salish People.

Headed north back to New York, Cornell is looking for “justice”—just not for its white students. For example, the university is requiring all students to get vaccinated—well, not really. Only white students are forced to get vaccinated against COVID, while students of color have no such requirement.

Physical education? According to Campus Reform, Cornell offered a course for the spring semester called “BIPOC Rock Climbing”; white students need not apply.

From the course description, obtained on a web archive:

Come climb with COE and take part in the Cornell climbing community! We will introduce you to rock climbing movement and techniques, belaying, equipment, knots, rappelling, and safety at the Lindseth Climbing Center. Courses ensure a high degree of individual attention and a supportive space to explore the vertical world!

Graduates of this course will have the knowledge and skills to push themselves to new challenges while climbing safely and responsibly. We will also talk about BIPOC individuals and groups in rock climbing.

This class is for people who identify as black, indigenous, Latinx, Asian or other people of color.

Campus Reform continued that when asked for comment, Cornell’s Senior Director of Media Relations and News, John Carberry, issued a statement which claimed that “all Cornell students” are “welcome” to enroll in the course, which is of course in stark contradiction to the course description above.

Carberry tried to spin the original description by saying it showed an “intentional focus” on “outreach and inclusion,” however there was “never” an intention to exclude students that don’t identify as BIPOC.

Carberry continued:

“All Cornell students are welcome to enroll in this course. While the original description of the course represented an intentional focus on outreach and inclusion, there was never an intent to exclude non-minority students. The description of the course has been adjusted accordingly.”

Cornell, however, may find itself in trouble with the state of New York, which specifically prohibits exactly what the university did with the rock-climbing course; from the New York State Attorney General’s website:

“Students in New York schools are protected by federal, state, and local laws that prevent discrimination on the basis of race, national origin, sex, sexual orientation, religion, disability, and other categories.”

Oh, and the cost of the class for the racially discriminatory class? A cool $1800.

Nothing says overturning “oppression” by shaking students down for $1800 to climb fake rocks.

Editor note: In 2020, we saw a nationwide push to “defund the police”.  While we all stood here shaking our heads wondering if these people were serious… they cut billions of dollars in funding for police officers.  And as a result, crime has skyrocketed – all while the same politicians who said “you don’t need guns, the government will protect you” continued their attacks on both our police officers and our Second Amendment rights.

And that’s exactly why we’re launching this national crowdfunding campaign as part of our efforts to help “re-fund the police”.
