‘Textbook Racism’: Teachers Union Passes New System Giving
‘Weighted’ Votes To Non-White Board Members 1

In Ontario, Canada, a teacher’s union in the Halton school district took the shocking step of passing a new system that will provide “weighted votes” to non-white board members.

The system guarantees that non-white voters will constantly make up 50% of the vote. For example, if 35 board members are voting and 30 are made up of white people, each vote by a person considered a racial minority would now be worth six votes.

This radical and racist new system that blatantly treats “white” people as lesser in value becomes even more disturbing when we remember that these are those in charge of educating children.

Halton school district (district 20), consists of an estimated 1,400 teachers and staff. The new policy was passed with the support of 68% of board members.

Candice Malcolm, the Founder and Editor-In-Chief of Canadian news company True North, referred to the move as a “poisonous pervasive ideology that has captured schools.”

“The woke left is taking over schools, they’re poisoning the minds of children, and they’re destroying basic enlightenment principles like liberty, justice, and equality. This needs to stop,” she insisted.

“Instead of justice, which is the rule of law applied equally to everyone, [the radical left] believe in social justice,” she underscored. “They believe in applying the laws differently to different people to engineer an outcome that they choose. They don’t believe in the concept of equality; they believe in the concept of equity, which means that there is more equality for some and less equality for others.”

Furthermore, Malcolm points out that the visual graphics the board members used to promote the “weighted voting” are strikingly reminiscent of “Marxist imagery of a revolution.”

“Is it reverse racism? No, I would say it’s just plain old racism,” Malcolm stated. “Dividing people up by race, saying that some people are inherently more valuable, and some people are inherently less valuable based on the color of their skin, that’s pretty textbook racism.”

Sue-Ann Levy, in an interview with Malcolm, stated that this kind of social justice racism and critical race theory has been “percolating [in schools] for a number of years.”

“In some ways, the parents are to blame because they have absconded the responsibility in large part to the school system,” she asserted, adding that while some people are understandably busy it comes at a cost to the children who “have become the latchkey kids of the school system.”

In the United States, we have seen a large number of parents in recent months stand boldly against school boards for their promotion of Critical Race Theory to students. Unfortunately, with few exceptions, Canadian parents have remained silent and have not pushed back against these radical agendas being forced upon their impressionable youth.

It is important to understand that the effort to exchange Biblical teaching for overtly secular education in the classrooms has had a detrimental effect on how children view the topic of racism.

The Bible teaches that “from one man [God] made all the nations, that they should inhabit the whole earth; and he marked out their appointed times in history and the boundaries of their lands” (Act 17:26). In other words, every human being is created in the image of God, starting from the same man (Adam). We are all therefore one race, one family, and equal one to another (Genesis 1:27).

This runs in stark contrast to the teaching of the father of evolution, Charles Darwin, who suggested that some ethnicities are further on the evolutionary track than others.

It is also solely through anti-Biblical teaching that the idea can be espoused that skin color determines whether a person is inherently racist or a victim of racism.

The Bible states that there “is no respect of persons with God” (Romans 2:11). Furthermore, 1 Samuel 16:7 says that the Lord does not see people as man does “for man looketh on the outward appearance, but the LORD looketh on the heart” and Jesus encourages us to do the same (John 7:24).

Hal Lindsey in his article, “Divided Times: Ethnos Against Ethnos Ends At The Cross,” explained that the rise in racial conflict is something Jesus warned would increase in the time prior to His return.

“Jesus warned that racial conflict would increase dramatically shortly before His second coming,” Lindsey explained. “In Matthew 24:7, He said that in the last days, ‘Nation will rise against nation.’ If you’ve studied Bible prophecy, you probably know that the word translated ‘nation,’ is the Greek word ‘ethnos.’ Ethnos has to do with races and tribes — ‘people groups’ in today’s vernacular. In other words, Jesus foretold the era of identity politics.”

2 Timothy 3:13, states that in the last days “evil men and seducers shall wax worse and worse, deceiving, and being deceived.” Racism is not gradually rearing its ugly head in our society the way that it once did. The tensions between ethnicities are being deliberately aroused by those with political and satanic reasons for doing so. The forefront of the battle for this deception is being raged in our children’s classrooms.
