BREAKING: Mitch McConnell, Who Organized Impeachment With
Democrat Allies, Now Says He’ll Vote to Acquit Trump 1

Republican Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell, who helped organize the impeachment proceedings with his Democrat allies, and who allegedly used the threat of a conviction to control President Donald Trump’s actions after he left the White House, has now told Senate Republicans that he will vote to acquit the former President, essentially instructing his colleagues to do the same.

“While a close call, I am persuaded that impeachments are a tool primarily of removal and we therefore lack jurisdiction,” McConnell wrote, per Politico. Quoting Democrat talking points, McConnell continued, “The Constitution makes it perfectly clear that Presidential criminal misconduct while in office can be prosecuted after the President has left office, which in my view alleviates the otherwise troubling ‘January exception’ argument raised by the House.”

This comes after McConnell was lobbied by establishment Republicans and deep state donors to vote to convict President Trump in the trial, as National File reported.

“Mitch said to me he wants Trump gone,” one Republican member of Congress told reporters in confidence, reported National File. “It is in his political interest to have him gone. It is in the GOP interest to have him gone. The question is, do we get there?”

However, it appears McConnell may not vote to convict President Trump as part of an alleged blackmail scheme exposed by Tucker Carlson.

According to Carlson, President Trump was ordered by Mitch McConnell not to pardon Julian Assange or other whistleblowers, and warned that, should President Trump disobey the man who presided over a massive Senate loss on January 5, then the Senate Republicans would vote to convict him in the trial.

McConnell began circulating plans for the impeachment trial on January 8, at the same time big tech companies Facebook and Twitter led the effort to remove President Trump from the Internet.

This likely comes much to the chagrin of the mainstream media, including MSNBC talking head Nicole Wallace, who fantasized on air about McConnell using “drone strikes” to murder American citizens who did not vote for Joe Biden.
