DOVER—Diane Weatherlow voted for President Donald Trump, and she believes the majority of voters did too, because she believes Americans do not want socialism and the president has opposed socialism throughout his term.
“I came here today to show support for President Trump and to stand for a free and fair election. I don’t feel like this election was fair, at all. There’s been no transparency,” said Weatherlow, who attended a Stop the Steal rally in Dover, Delaware with her children on Nov. 14, 2020.
The way the vote counts happened, the reports of alleged fraud, and the way major media have brushed things under the rug add up to something that Weatherlow says she and other Americans can’t accept as transparency. “This is nothing more than propaganda that we get from mainstream media, we’re not being told the truth,” she said.
“I could accept a loss if I felt better that all the votes, the legal votes, were counted, and I don’t feel that’s happened,” she said.
Weatherlow said that election fraud could happen tells us something about the country today.
“That’s what scares me. I never thought in my lifetime that I would see our country head toward socialism, and it’s very scary to me,” she said. “Our forefathers, and everybody in the military who who have given up their lives, who have fought for this country, for freedom, this is appalling to me.”
Weatherlow thought it a travesty that young people today are taught that socialism is good.
“And are taught to hate our country, our flag, themselves? That is frightening to me, frightening,” she said. “I do not want to see our country go in this direction. This is not what our forefathers had in mind. We are better than this.”
“And I believe the majority of our country chose against socialism and they are stealing this election to shove socialism down our throats and I for one am not going to stand for that,” Weatherlow said.
“I will never believe that this was a fair election. If they recount every valid, legal vote, and it turns out Biden won, okay I’ll accept it. But until that happens I feel this has been stolen from us,” she said.
