A candidate for the 2022 Georgia gubernatorial race, Kandiss Taylor, called for a full, complete forensic audit of the 2020 general election in Fulton County and Chatham county, following the ongoing forensic audit in Maricopa, Arizona.

“We, The People, of Georgia demand a forensic audit of Fulton and Chatham County due to the concern over multiple issues. This is the will of the people,” Taylor said in a statement released on Monday. “If the election was fair and legal, a forensic audit will prove that to be the case, but I saw too much evidence myself during the Georgia Senate hearing back in December to believe fraud wasn’t rampant.”

Taylor announced her run for governor early this year. She is currently an educator with the Appling County Board of Education.

Georgia is one of the states where election results are being questioned. A lot of the allegations of election fraud and irregularities are aimed at Chatham County and Fulton County, which includes Atlanta. A number of lawsuits have been turned down by courts on standing.

Taylor said in her statement that Josh Barnett, a former candidate for the U.S. House of Representatives in Arizona, taught her how to get a forensic audit granted.

“Everything we did, it was a combination of efforts of many people, that that cause a forensic audit in Arizona, it was the rallies, it was the organization of the people, you know, yelling and screaming and calling and emailing, and in a way harassing them, but in a positive way,” Barnett said in an interview with Taylor.

Taylor said she mailed a notice Monday to all Georgia legislators in both chambers of the General Assembly, the governor, lieutenant governor, secretary of state, and the attorney general, demanding a full forensic audit of the general election in the two counties.

Thousands of Georgia residents will do the same, Taylor indicated.

“All government, of right, originates with the people, is founded upon their will only and is instituted solely for the good of the whole. Public officers are the trustees and servants of the people and are at all times amenable to them,” the notice stated.

Taylor provides a template of the notice on her website, along with the mailing and email addresses of all state legislators, encouraging Georgia residents to do the same.

Peter Navarro, White House trade adviser during the Trump administration, also called for a forensic audit in Georgia last month.

President Joe Biden won Georgia in 2020 by just over 11,000 votes.

Fulton and Chatham Counties didn’t respond to a request from The Epoch Times for comment.

Taylor’s first political endeavor was running for the 2020 U.S. Senate special election in Georgia. She received over 40,000 votes, nearly one percent of total votes in the first round.

Attorney Lin Wood endorsed Taylor’s run for governor in April.

“She is my kind of person. She loves The People. And she will fight for ‘Jesus, Guns, and Babies!’” Wood wrote on Telegram.
