Georgia’s Secretary of State announced that 97 of the states 159 counties had sent their final numbers as of Wednesday afternoon. As it now stands, Biden leads Trump by just over 14,000 votes.
He says the recount should be finished by the state’s Nov. 20 deadline, and the next step is getting the final county certifications in. Then he will choose which race will be subject to an audit.
