Aside from muddying the waters when it comes to the separation of church and state, Rev. Raphael Warnock seems to have a profoundly serious issue distancing himself from the Marxist ideology, a troubling point when one wants to be a US Senator from the State of Georgia.
Warnock, one of the two Democrat challengers to the incumbent US Senators from the State of Georgia, has advocated for Marxism in several of his past writings. These writings also include a great quantity of racially charged language
This point was laid bare after Warnock verbally contorted to evaded answering a debate question Sunday on whether he rejects Marxism.
Warnock, is the senior pastor at Ebenezer Baptist Church and an avowed Black Liberation theologian, which raises the question of how his radical dogma would influence his decision-making should he emerge victorious in the January 5, 2021 run-off election against incumbent US Sen. Kelly Loeffler (R-GA).

In his 2014 book, The Divided Mind of the Black Church: Theology, Piety, and Public Witness, Warnock celebrated Marxism as a way to “teach the black church.”
“To be sure, the Marxist critique has much to teach the black church. Indeed, it has played an important role in the maturation of black theology as an intellectual discipline, deepened black theology’s apprehension of the interconnectivity of racial and class oppression and provided critical tools for a black church that has yet to awaken to a substantive third world consciousness,” Warnock wrote.
Warnock studied under Dr. James Cone, who was Warnock’s academic adviser at the Union Theological Seminary in New York City. Cone repeatedly and jealously defended Marxism and used provocative and offensive anti-white language in his sermons, teachings, and writings.
Warnock considered Cone to be not only his “mentor,” but the “father of black theology.” At Cone’s funeral, Warnock eulogized him as a “prophet.”
During last Sunday’s debate, Loeffler asked Warnock pointblank, “Can you, here and now for all Georgians, renounce Socialism and Marxism?”
Warnock would not do so, saying, “I believe in our free enterprise system.” He then pivoted to his father’s accomplishments as a preacher and community organizer, completely ignoring Loeffler’s question.

Loeffler and US Sen. David Purdue (R-GA), are running against Progressive-Democrats Warnock and Jon Ossoff, respectively. At stake is control of the US Senate and whether the United States will exist under one-party rule.
