12,000 ballots have “suddenly appeared” in the race for New Jersey Senate President following Republican Edward Durr’s groundbreaking victory against the Democrat incumbent, New Jersey Sen. Steve Sweeney, who is refusing to concede.

Edward Durr, a New Jersey truck driver and Republican candidate for New Jersey state Senate, delivered a historic victory against the decade-long Democrat incumbent Steve Sweeney having spent only $153 on his campaign. Unfortunately, a miraculous 12,000 ballots have “suddenly appeared” after the election. At press, Durr is still ahead by around 2,000 votes.

Sweeney has refused to concede, despite losing to a candidate who spent a total $153 on his campaign by a staggering 4 points. Durr had defeated the Democrat incumbent by 52 percent to 48 percent as of Thursday.

100 percent of all votes in Sweeney’s district have already been reported – raising much suspicion over the newly found “12,000 ballots.”

“The results from Tuesday’s election continue to come in, for instance there were 12,000 ballots recently found in one county,” Sweeney said in a statement earlier this week, according to local media. “While I am currently trailing in the race, we want to make sure every vote is counted. Our voters deserve that, and we will wait for the final results.”

Durr, 58, is a truck driver for the furniture company Raymour & Flanigan. He is the father of 3 children and has 6 grandchildren. With little experience in the political realm, Durr’s successful grassroots campaign has received national attention, as his victory has been touted as a massive upset.

“In 2020, my opponent [Sweeney] sat by and watched as Governor Murphy forced nursing homes to take in COVID-19 patients, resulting in the death of over 8,000 of our seniors,” Durr said in his campaign video, which has since gone viral due to his sweeping election victory.

“He remained silent as Governor Murphy, with his lockdown and mandates, forced the closing of over one third of our small businesses costing New Jersey families thousands of jobs.”

According to a report by Daily Mail, “Durr described himself to Politico as a ‘constitutional conservative’ who has backed cutting an array of different taxes for ‘businesses to grow’ and supports federal legislation to ban abortion.”
