Illinois Congressman Adam Kinzinger has quickly established himself as the most anti-Trump Republican in the U.S. house.

Not only did he vote to impeach President Trump on January 13, 2021 with nine other quisling Republicans, Kinzinger recently said that the Republican Party is not a “Trump-first party” during an appearance on “Meet the Press” on January 31, 2021.

Kinzinger made it a point to distance himself from President Trump and the ideological realignment he has brought forth in the GOP.  Chuck Todd of “Meet the Press”  asked Kinzinger about his take on House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy’s recent meeting with Trump. Todd observed that Trump apparently looked enthusiastic when he shared a photo from the meeting.

This made the “Meet the Press” host wonder if the GOP is beginning to embrace Trump after trying to distance itself from him in the aftermath of the January 6 Capitol riot, which the media have blown out of proportion.

“You know, I think your point about that picture is important. So it shows that the former president is desperate to continue to look like he’s leading the party, and the problem is, until we push back and say, you know, this is not a Trump-first party; this is a country first party. In some cases, you may support Donald Trump in that effort, but in my case, I believe that that’s a whole new movement,” Kinzinger stated.

“Look, it’s really difficult. I mean, all of a sudden imagine everybody that supported you, or so it seems that way, your friends, your family, has turned against you. They think you’re selling out,” Kinzinger continued. “But the reality is this: This is a time to choose. It’s a time to choose what we’re going to be.”

Previously, Kinzinger recognized that his vote to impeach Trump could end up being “terminal” to his political career. In all likelihood, Kinzinger will face a primary challenge for his treachery.

Kinzinger is a neocon hawk who enjoys being politically correct and does everything possible to gain approval from the mainstream media.

The Illinois Congressman constantly yammers on about so-called conspiracies within the Republican Party. In addition, he attacked Texas Republican leader Allen West for entertaining the idea of radical decentralization in the face of an increasingly despotic federal government.

The country will be better served if Kinzinger is relieved of the burden of holding public office and replaced by a staunch America First primary challenger.
