Report: “Missing” ballots in three swing states exceed
President Biden’s victory margin 1

According to a recent report from Breitbart News, the manager from the Heritage Foundation’s Election Law Reform Initiative and a senior legal fellow of the Meese Center for Legal and Judicial Studies claims the President Joe Biden’s victory margins in the states of Arizona, Nevada, and Wisconsin in the 2020 election were significantly smaller than the number of unaccounted ballots in those same states.

Hans von Spakovsky appeared on SiriusXM’s Breitbart News Daily on September 1st to discuss the anomaly regarding unaccounted ballots and President Biden’s victory margins in three key states from the 2020 election:

“Remember the margin of victory in Wisconsin was only 20,000 votes, and that basically 82,000 ballots were either lost or undeliverable or were rejected. That’s four times the margin of victory… Those are the numbers that the Wisconsin Election Commission itself reported to the U.S. Election Assistance Commission.”

Spakovsky was referencing a report from the Public Interest Legal Foundation that found that 82,766 mail-in ballots for the state of Wisconsin during the 2020 election were deemed as “undeliverable”, “rejected”, or “unknow” – with the “unknown” category consisting of 76,308 mail-in ballots.

When the report described what exactly an “unknown” status is regarding a mail-in ballot in Wisconsin, the following was noted in the report:

“This means there is a wide variety of things that can happen to a ballot in the ‘unknown’ column. A ballot can be put in the wrong mailbox and land in an unfriendly neighbor’s trash. It can be thrown out with your unpaid bills. It can be left outside for the wind to carry the last mile (like seen in Nevada in 2020). Election officials simply do not know what happened.”

As for the other ballots in Wisconsin, 6,458 were listed as “undeliverable” and 2,981 were listed as “rejected” – which both categories are fairly self-explanatory in that undeliverable mail-in ballots are simply returned to the post office and rejected ballots are usually due to non-matching signatures.

Spakovsky continued from there, noting the following about the over 76,000 “unknown” mail-in ballots:

“They don’t know what happened to them. In other words, voters requested an absentee ballot, or [Wisconsin officials] simply decided – in some places in Wisconsin – to simply mail out absentee ballots to everybody, and the ballot never came back, so it’s unaccounted for.

These are the official numbers of the election commission [in Wisconsin], and we don’t know what happened to them. We don’t know if [the ballots] got lost [or] if they were stolen and somebody didn’t get to vote.”

Spakovsky stated that this isn’t just an issue that impacted Wisconsin, noting that there were similar irregularities regarding mail-in ballots in states like Arizona and Nevada:

“This didn’t just happen in Wisconsin…The margin of victory in Arizona for Joe Biden was only a little over 10,000 votes. Maricopa County alone has admitted that they sent 110,000 mail-in or absentee ballots to what turned out to be the wrong addresses.”

“They were labeled [and] returned as ‘undeliverable’ by the postal service. Same thing in Nevada. … Clark County sent out something like 93,000 mail-in ballots that are unaccounted for. In other words, they mailed it out [and] it never came back. We don’t know what happened to them, and remember, the margin of victory in the entire state was only a little over 33,000 ballots.”

“There are literally tens of thousands of ballots out there floating around, and we don’t know what happened to them.”

On a national level for the 2020 election, the Public Interest Legal Foundation found that over 15 million mail-in ballots were unaccounted for – with 14.7 million of those ballots being labeled with an “unknown” status.

In the report summary, Public Interest Legal Foundation President J. Christian Adams noted that with the number of unaccounted ballots for the 2020 election, it’s a solid argument for why “the 2020 push to mail voting needs to be a one-year experiment.”

Felon caught with gun, drugs and thousands of pieces of mail including suspected recall ballots

(Originally published August 22nd, 2021)

TORRANCE, CA – According to a Facebook post from the Torrance Police Department, a convicted felon was arrested earlier in August after allegedly being found in possession of a gun, drugs and “thousands of pieces of mail”.

The image of the mail shared by authorities depicts what appear to be California ballots, presumably linked to the active recall election.

The Torrance Police Department wrote in the statement that officers responded to a male subject who was reportedly passed out inside of a vehicle at a local 7-11 parking lot on the evening of August 16th.

After police made contact with the unnamed suspect, they’d learned that he was a convicted felon and allegedly had Xanax pills on his person. Further investigating led to police finding in his vehicle “a loaded firearm, methamphetamine, thousands of pieces of mail, a scale & multiple CA drivers licenses and credit cards in other individuals’ names.”

The suspect was arrested under suspicion of forgery, narcotics, and weapons-related charges, but what has some concerned was the “thousands of pieces of mail” police reportedly found in the suspect’s possession.

A photo of the seized evidence shared by police depicted some of the mail found, which bears a striking resemblance to official Los Angeles County mail-in ballots that are being sent out for the recall election of Gavin Newsom.

While police officials have not confirmed whether the seized mail included official mail-in ballots, many online are speculating due to the image shared by the Terrance Police Department.

Now whether this is part of an elaborate scheme to specifically target mail-in ballots would be anyone’s guess at this point, since authorities haven’t released any additional information outside of the arrest, photo of seized evidence, and pending charges.

But since the suspect was allegedly in possession of narcotics – specifically methamphetamine – these chunks of mail he was reportedly found in possession of may simply be the consequence of stealing mail for other purposes.

Reports over the years have found that drug abuse, especially that of methamphetamines, is often accompanied by mail theft. Back in 2015, Greg Campbell, who was with the U.S. Postal Inspection Service at the time, had a phrase that he said often rings true:

“I used to have a saying that I think still holds true that ‘where there’s meth, there’s mail’. There is a correlation between those who are on substance abuse and going out to do things to accommodate their habit.”

When methamphetamines come into the mix, mail theft is usually a means to employ eventual identity theft – so that credit cards can be opened, and the drug habit can be supported. The practice has become a severe problem over the past 15 years.

Just this past June, police in Davis, California arrested two women after they were allegedly found in possession of a firearm, 90 grams of methamphetamines, stolen mail, and credit/debit cards information as well as California EDD debit cards (used for disability and unemployment payments).

The August 16th matter is still being investigated by Torrance Police.

Report: Over 83K Wisconsin mail ballots in 2020 presidential election deemed “unknown or undeliverable”

(Originally published August 28th, 2021)

WASHINGTON, D.C.- On Friday, August 27th, the Public Interest Legal Foundation (PILF) said that 82,766 mail ballots sent to voters in Wisconsin’s November 2020 presidential election “went missing or undeliverable.”

That number is reportedly four times greater than Joe Biden’s 20,682 vote certified margin of victory in the state. More than 1.6 million votes were cast in the November 2020 presidential election in Wisconsin and Biden’s certified margin of victory was just 1.2 percent of all votes cast.

The headline that accompanied the PILF’s report said:

“83K mail ballots went missing or undeliverable amid 20k vote margin of victory in WI 2020 Presidential.”

In the statement, PILF President J. Christian Adams added:

“We now know the cost of the rush to mail balloting, lost ballots. The federal data show the 2020 election had more mail ballots that were never counted than the margin of victory in the Presidential election in Wisconsin.”

He stated:

“This isn’t the way to run an election. Mail ballots invite error, disenfranchisement of voters, and puts the inept U.S. Post Office determining the outcome of elections.”

The report showed that unlike the results of the 2012 and 2016, the number of “missing or undeliverable” mail ballots in 2020 exceed the margin of victory in the election to determine which presidential candidate would be awarded the state’s ten electoral college votes.

The report noted, in 2020, for instance, 1.4 million ballots were mailed to Wisconsin voters, which was 86 percent of the 1.6 million votes cast.

Of those 1.4 million mail ballots, 76,306 were classified as “unknown,” while 6,458 were classified as “undeliverable.” Combining those two classifications, 82,766 mail ballots were either “unknown” or “undeliverable,” a number that is 400 percent greater than Biden’s certified 20,682 margin of victory in the state over former President Donald Trump.

In 2016, just 158,846 ballots were mailed to Wisconsin voters, which totaled a mere 11 percent of the 1.4 million votes cast in that election.

Of those 158,846 mail ballots, 11,138 were classified as “unknown,” while 1,846 were classified as “undeliverable.” Combining those two classifications, 12,984 mail ballots were either “unknown” or “undeliverable,” a number that is only 47 percent of Donald Trump’s certified 27,257 vote margin of victory in the state over Hilary Clinton.

In 2012, 54,077 mail ballots were “unknown or undeliverable,” which was a mere 26 percent of Barack Obama’s 205,204 vote certified margin of victory in the state over Mitt Romney.

The recent PILF report elaborated on the significance in these differences between 2020 and 2016/2012, by saying:

“Unlike other states its size with an influence in national politics, Wisconsin could brag about the fact that its counts of ‘undeliverable and unknown’ mail ballots never inundated the margin of victory for a statewide candidate, until the 2020 election.

Expanded vote-by-mail efforts create stress tests on a state’s voter registration list maintenance system and reveal if investments in ballot chains of custody were effective.”

The report added:

“Unknown ballots are the greatest blind spot in the American electoral system. Up until 2020, Wisconsin had this problem relatively in-hand.

If election results on their face continue to tighten while the ‘unknown’ and ‘undeliverable’ counts rise, the state will see an added layer of voter distrust like in California and Arizona with years of similar mail voting patterns.”

The report concluded:

“When Wisconsin loses track of more ballots than the difference between winning and losing its Electoral College votes, that is a core system failure.”
