Several far-Left influencers are urging die-hard Progressives and other Democrats to move to the State of Georgia so they can weight the vote to Democrats in the upcoming run-off elects. What they are not telling their supporters is that the move could result in jail time.
The results of the January 5, 2021 US Senate run-off election in Georgia will literally determine the direction of our country. And this finds far-Leftists like failed presidential candidate Andrew Yang and others urging their supporters and Progressive activists to move to the State of Georgia so that they can register to vote in the run-off contests.

The November 3, 2020 General Election resulted in a mandatory run off between Sen. Kelly Loeffler (R-GA), and Raphael Warnock, and Sen. David Purdue (R-GA), and Jon Ossoff.
If Democrats win those two races, the Senate’s 100 seats will be split evenly between the teo parties. That means if Joe Biden and Kamala Harris prevail in the presidential contest, Harris would always cast the tie-breaking vote on legislation handing a clear path to one-party rule to Democrats.
So, with the direction of our nation on the line, far-Leftists see a wealth of reasons to win at all cost. But that unbridled desire to win at all cost may throw their supporters under the bus.
“I hope everybody moves to Georgia, you know, in the next month or two, registers to vote, and votes for these two Democratic senators,” New York Times columnist Thomas L. Friedman told CNN on Monday night.
His sentiments were echoed by Eric Levitz of New York Magazine’s Intelligencer in a now deleted tweet in which he said, “These run-offs will decide which party controls the Senate, and thus, whether we’ll have any hope of a large stimulus/climate bill. If you have the means and fervor to make a temporary move to GA, [I] believe anyone who registers by Dec 7 can vote in these elections.”

But a spokesman for the Georgia Secretary of State’s Office said state law makes it a felony to vote in Georgia elections if the voter’s intention is to just vote and then move away from the state again.
Shevondah Leslie, a spokeswoman with Georgia’s Department of Driver Services said the primary way to establish proof of residency – which is a requirement for registering to vote in Georgia – is to provide a valid Georgia driver’s license. Those seeking to register to vote must provide proof of identification, a valid Social Security number, and proof of a Georgia primary residence, such as a utility bill.
Leslie explained that the Department of Driver Services sends information on new residents who have obtained driver’s licenses to the Georgia Secretary of State’s Office to execute voter registration unless the new driver requests the department not do so.
“These are sensitive issues, and election officials are going to pay attention to what is happening,” Enrijeta Shino, a University of North Florida political science professor, told reporters. “People should be very careful about doing that.”
Shino said that individuals can move to Georgia briefly to work on campaigns and canvass for candidates, but voting in the State of Georgia without the intention of relocating long-term would be considered fraud.
