Trump Election Attorney Jenna Ellis Starting Daily Show

Trump Election Attorney Jenna Ellis Starting Daily
Show 1

One of the key attorneys in charge of President Donald Trump’s post-election legal efforts is starting a daily video show.

Jenna Ellis, a constitutional law attorney, announced the news in a message on Twitter.

Ellis said she is partnering with Just The News and Real America’s Voice to produce the daily program, which will be titled Just The Truth.

Just The News is a political news outlet started by veteran journalist John Solomon. Solomon shared a copy of Ellis’s message on Twitter.

In the aftermath of the Nov. 3 election, Ellis traveled to several states in an effort to convince the legislatures there to assert their constitutional power to appoint presidential electors. Trump’s legal team argued that the election laws and rules in states like Pennsylvania and Georgia were unconstitutionally altered ahead of the election.

“A powerful voice of truth. They are lucky to have you,” Jason Meister, a member of the Trump campaign advisory board, wrote in a message on Twitter.

“So excited to have you aboard,” wrote Gina Loudon, a Trump campaign media advisory board member and the president of programming at Real America’s Voice, wrote on Twitter. “Your show will be amazing!”

Ellis did not specify a date for the show’s premiere.

The Trump campaign’s legal efforts hit a roadblock in the courts, with dozens of lawsuits dismissed before the team got a chance to present evidence. As the cases were litigated, Ellis, joined by Trump attorney Rudy Giuliani, traversed the nation in an attempt to persuade state legislatures to take matters into their own hands. That effort likewise failed.

Trump conceded the election after Congress vetted and certified the Electoral College votes on Jan. 6. The joint session was interrupted when a mob breached the Capitol, prompting an evacuation of the lawmakers.

Democrats seized on the Capitol breach to rush through a second impeachment that concluded in Trump’s second acquitted this weekend.

While a number of Republicans, including Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell, broke from Trump, Ellis has remained a staunch and vocal defender of the president.
