President Trump said violent crime is rising out of control due to Democrat policies. In a statement on Sunday, the 45th president said Democrats are releasing thousands of criminals from prisons while allowing illegal immigrants to enter the U.S. unchecked.

As a result, Trump said crime rates are rising across most metropolitan areas at an unprecedented pace.

This comes after shots were fired outside the Nationals Park in Washington, D.C., sparking panic among game attendees. Trump added the rise in crime is one of the worst consequences of the stolen 2020 elections.
