Following news that the Southern Poverty Law Center (SPLC) is targeting him for disbarment, Rep. Mo Brooks (R-AL) is urging the disgraced thought-control organization to keep it coming as he believes it will help his chances while running for the U.S. Senate.
Brooks appeared on Big League Politics Live on Thursday morning to discuss many topics, including attacks levied by the SPLC against his character. He believes that these attacks will help him win in his state’s GOP primary.
“Please publicize as much as possible that the Southern Poverty Law Center is attacking me. That is a goldmine of votes for a Republican in an Alabama primary,” Brooks said.
“They are radical left-wing, they are monied interests, they are fairly racial in their outlook on everything, and so, let me reemphasize: The Southern Poverty Law Center is attacking Mo Brooks. Keep doing it!” he added.

“The Southern Poverty Law Center is being forced to reckon with its own intolerance after its two highest-ranking executives have resigned in disgrace.
“The president of the Southern Poverty Law Center, Richard Cohen, announced his resignation Friday, the latest in a series of high-profile departures at the anti-hate organization that have come amid allegations of misconduct and workplace discrimination,” the LA Times reported.
Last week, Morris Dees, a cofounder of group, was forced to resign amid vague allegations of misconduct. It was later reported that an email circulated from former SPLC employee Meredith Horton had accused management of maltreatment of female and minority employees. That prompted the group to launch an internal probe of workplace culture, led by former Obama administration official Tina Tchen.
“Whatever problems exist at the SPLC happened on my watch, so I take responsibility for them,” Cohen reportedly told staff in his email resignation.
Friday, the organization’s legal director, Rhonda Brownstein, also resigned via email.

Even though the SPLC may want him disbarred for opposing voter fraud, Brooks refuses to back down one iota in his opposition to the Democrats’ dirty tricks on election night.
“It’s quite clear that the evidence is overwhelming and compelling that there was vast amounts of voter fraud in 2020, and, in addition to that, there were a lot of illegal ballots cast in particular because of their violation of Article 1, Section 4 of the United States Constitution that limits the setting of “times, places and manners” of elections to state legislatures and the United States Congress,” Brooks said.
“It’s very apparent that there are other elected officials or appointed bodies or individuals who blatantly disregarded the United States Constitution as they changed the times, places and manners of the election processes in direct conflict with the powers bestowed by the United States Constitution to legislatures and the United States Congress,” he added.
