State senators in Georgia on Thursday were handed a hot political potato: a video showing election workers being sent home before supervisors pulled out hidden boxes of ballots from under a table and counted them.

The video, posted on Twitter by the Trump campaign, was introduced at a hearing held by the Georgia State Senate on allegations of vote fraud.

Georgia is one of the swing states where President Trump held a solid lead until the counting was shut down and a surge of votes for Joe Biden later were added to the count.

The Georgia Senate has held two hearings, one by the Senate Government Oversight Committee and another by the Senate Judiciary.

The Senate committees are holding the hearings because of reports of election manipulation and fraud.

Another witness reported 506 felons voted illegally and 66,248 underage residents were registered to vote. There were 2,423 voters who were not registered to vote, 1,043 who voted from a post office box address and 10,215 were deceased by the time of the election.
