Michigan State Rep. Cynthia Johnson, who received significant backlash and was removed from her committee posts after threatening Trump voters in a viral video, appeared to show no remorse for her remarks and doubled in a livestreamed profane rant this week.

“I’m good, I’m okay, I’m not worried, I’m not going underground, I’m not changing my f**king phone number, I ain’t doin’ none o’ that!” Johnson screamed into her phone camera. “But we gon’ change some s**t that’s been goin’ on in the city of Detroit. Things that have happened to our people, in our communities.”

“Oh yes, the Biden and Harris administration owes the city of Detroit,” Johnson said. “Mhm. Oh yes. I put my life on the line for not only the Democratic party, the Republican party, the city of Detroit. I put my life on the line for justice, for democracy.”

Johnson added that she “never called anyone out of their names” unless they were “dumbasses,” before adding, “We don’t need to make threats, all we need to do is use your own words and use your own voicemail messages and use your own videos, use your own s**t.”

The lawmaker then appeared to contradict herself in the very next sentence by stating, “It won’t be your words, it will be the words of hate, it will be the words of hatred. And then the whole world can see.”

Johnson was stripped of her committee posts on Wednesday after her threatening remarks towards “Trumpers” went viral, as reported by National File:

Johnson, 62, was stripped of her post as the top Democrat on the Michigan House Oversight Committee, as well as her seats on the Agriculture Committee and Families, Children, and Seniors Committee Wednesday afternoon by Republican House leaders.

“Rep. Johnson has been removed from her committee assignments, and we are looking into further disciplinary action as the proper authorities conduct their own investigations,” a statement from House leadership said, adding that Johnson’s threats were “unbecoming of an elected official.”

Johnson had issued a warning to “you Trumpers” to “be careful” and “walk lightly,” because “we ain’t playing with you.” She encouraged her supporters to “hit their asses” before couching with the statement “in the pocketbook,” and issued vague orders “for those of you who are soldiers: You know how to do it. Do it right. Be in order. Make them pay.”

Johnson has since taken to Facebook to declare herself one of the “victims” of the situation and insinuate that House leaders were racist for deciding to “punish a black woman’s response.”
