Wisconsin Rep. Janel Brandtjen (R) has called for a forensic investigation of fraud in 2020 elections. In a statement on Monday, Brandtjen said there was plenty of voting irregularities in last year’s election in Wisconsin.

Brandtjen said the law allowed 22 months after the election day to probe suspected fraud. She added the evidence of fraud included cured ballots, indefinitely confined electors, ballot harvesting and tabulator malfunctions.

The state lawmaker recently visited the Arizona audit and urged the state of Wisconsin to conduct a similar process.

“I think it’s an opportunity to bring some light right? That’s what we wanna make sure that our elections are fair and transparent,” she explained. “That was the process that I think they’re looking to make sure there’s some light to the process of having elections.”

Brandtjen went on to say a Wisconsin audit would also examine IP addresses, chain of custody records and trail logs to see if the 2020 election was hacked or manipulated. She added such a procedure would ensure election integrity and prevent fraud going forward.
