Wisc. Senate Announces Probe into 2020 Presidential
Election 1

After Wisconsin‘s Legislative Audit Bureau released a damning report about fraud and illegality in the 2020 presidential election, the State Senate’s Republican leader has announced a new investigation, Just the News reported.

It comes as a bombshell revelation from Racine County unveiled massive vote fraud in local nursing homes, although the two events do not appear to be related.

Senate Majority Leader Devin LeMahieu, R-Oostburg, said on Monday that the State Senate will investigate how the Wisconsin Election Commission undermined the state’s election results.

“The audit released on [Friday] paints a grim picture of the Wisconsin Election Commission and their careless administration of election law in Wisconsin,” LeMahieu said in a statement. “The audit shows numerous failures within WEC which undermined the free, fair, and transparent elections Wisconsinites deserve.”

LeMahieu said the Wisconsin Legislature could decide to disband the Wisconsin Election Commission.

“We will assess the full impact of WEC’s deficiencies and determine the best course of action for the future of election administration given the now documented failures of the current administration and staff,” he said.

The LAB’s audit report found that the WEC allowed the election to proceed with widespread errors in voter rolls and an absentee voting process that dropped all safeguards.

The Wisconsin Election Commission let every voter in the state declare themselves “indefinitely confined” and thus vote by absentee ballot if they stated that they feared leaving the house due to COVID-19.

Rep. Janel Brandtjen, R-Menomonee Falls, who chairs the State Assembly’s Campaigns and Elections Committee, said the LAB’s report has “shattered” her confidence in the WEC.

“The Wisconsin Election Commission failed to properly manage voter registration, train clerks, or comply with security issues on electronic voting equipment,” she said. “To make matters worse, 48,554 indefinitely confined individuals who had not previously voted with an ID or did not have a photo ID on file, voted on Election Day.”

The WEC also accepted huge donations from the far-left Center for Tech and Civic Life, a Mark Zuckerberg-run organization that pushed get-out-the-vote campaigns and ballot drop boxes in heavily Democratic areas.
