Anti-Conservative Censorship Spreads To Mailchimp,

At first it was just Facebook and Twitter exercising what just about everyone considered censorship. Some who protested too loudly even got banned. Now, other internet tech publishing companies are joining in, purging non-Progressives from their ranks.

With the CEOs of the tech information behemoths – Facebook, Twitter, and Google – being brought in front of Congress and called on the carpet for attacking American’s free speech rights, it is stunning that two more tech giants are following in suit.

WordPress and Mailchimp, one a website publishing software company and the other a mass emailing delivery service, have issued termination noticed to two non-Progressive entities that happen to fall on the right side of the political aisle.

WordPress recently terminated their long relationship with The Conservative Treehouse (CTH), a staunchly conservative publication. The company cited ideological differences in their decision.

The publisher of CTH wrote, “One week after the 2020 presidential election, The Conservative Treehouse received the following notification: “…given the incompatibility between your site’s content and our terms, you need to find a new hosting provider and must migrate the site by Wednesday, December 2nd.”

“It means CTH is being kicked-off the WordPress website hosting platform because the content of our research and discussion does not align with the ideology of those who define what is acceptable speech and what is not,” he continued.

CTH is not alone. A spokesman for The Northern Virginia Tea Party (NVTP) said their emailing ability has been de-platformed by Mailchimp.

The NVTP received a termination notice that read, “Your account has been suspended for violating our Standard Terms of Use and Acceptable Use Policy. We don’t allow our users to publish content including hate speech, threats, or calls for violence, or potentially harmful information.

The letter went on the inform the NVTP that their account was under suspension and that they should review the Mailchimp policies regarding use and content.

The NVTP’s crime? Attempting to notify its members about an election recount rally.

Amid this de-platforming, many non-Progressive users of the internet and social media are seeking out platforms that protect free speech rather than infringe upon it. Two outlets that are benefiting from Big Tech’s censorship are Parler and MeWe.
