Two Days 1

Border Patrol agents working in El Centro Sector carried out seven missions to rescue aliens who illegally crossed into the United States over the course of two days this week.

During 40 hours spanning Monday and Tuesday, 13 illegal aliens were saved near the border of California and Mexico, according to Customs and Border Protection (CBP).

“The first incident occurred at about 7:46 a.m., in the Jacumba Wilderness region, when Mexican authorities notified the El Centro Border Patrol Station of a distress call made by a woman who illegally crossed the United States/ Mexico International Boundary and became lost in the mountains,” CBP explained on Monday.

The 40-year-old migrant was found just after 10 a.m. and transported to a nearby hospital to be treated for a sprained ankle.

At around 9:40 a.m. an illegal alien was rescued from the All-American Canal.

Just after 3 p.m., a CBP air crew was dispatched to fetch an illegal alien who had been ‘abandoned’ the mountains.

At around 5:45 p.m., two illegals called 911 from the Jacumba Wilderness seeking assistance. They were found shortly afterwards and brought to the El Centro Processing Center.

On Tuesday, eight more illegals were rescued during three separate events.

“The first incident occurred at about 5:11 p.m. when El Centro Sector Dispatch notified agents working in the field of an individual who illegally crossed the United States/Mexico International Boundary, who stated that he was without water and was now lost in the mountains,” CBP explained in a statement.

An air crew located him shortly afterwards and took him to the El Centro Sector Processing Center.

Between 9:40 p.m. and 10:30 p.m., air crews and ground patrol searched for two Mexican males who had gotten lost roughly 10 miles north of the border.

Both men were located and found to be in good health.

At approximately the same time, five more illegal aliens were tracked down in the mountains after becoming lost and brought to El Centro Sector Processing Center.
