GEORGIA: Dem Senate Candidate Warnock Tells Followers ‘Jesus
Was A Poor Palestinian’ 1

As Raphael Warnock, the senior pastor at the Ebenezer Baptist Church in Atlanta – the same church where Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. and Sr. served as co-pastors – and a practicing Black Liberation theologian, courts endorsements from the self-deprecating Jewish Left, video has surfaced of Warnock previously comparing Jesus to “a poor Palestinian.”

Warnock repeatedly attempted to rewrite Biblical history by referring to Christ as a “Palestinian,” at one point preaching that Jesus of Nazareth was ethnically “Palestinian.”

In one video, Warnock claimed to be quoting Pope Francis:

“And, I love this Pope. He said, ‘Well, I’m not a Marxist, but I know a few Marxists and they’re pretty good people.’ So hard to discover, and to hear an authentic vision and voice, of authentic spirituality that gives voice to the least of these and when it shows up people describe it as some strange ideology rather than the vision of that poor Palestinian prophet who said that the spirit of the Lord is on me because God has anointed me to preach good news to the poor…”

In another video shot in the aftermath of the Trayvon Martin incident, Warnock chastised elected officials who supported the “Stand Your Ground” Second Amendment law, and gratuitously called Jesus “that Palestinian peasant…”:

“No, it’s not a stand your ground law, it’s a shoot first law. Shoot first, ask questions later…[But] perfect love casts out fear! And how is it that we have elected officials who say that they are Christian, that they go and they listen to somebody preach every Sunday morning – I wonder, what are they preaching? – Do they know the Christ? Do they know that Palestinian peasant who said, ‘He who lives by the sword will die by the sword?’

The claim that Jesus Christ was “Palestinian” has its genesis in the Palestinian Nationalism movement, a movement that claims the land of Israel is stolen land. Biblically – as well as when citing an accurate accounting of World History, Israel’s claim to its land dates back to before the time of Christ and before any organized or coherent Palestinian presence was recorded.

Warnock’s recent “two-state solution” talking point does not fully camouflage his Marxist-Progressive – read: Black Liberation theology – dogma when the facts, texts, and videos are examined.

The idea that he will honor the tradition of the separation of Church and State is about as realistic as believing a statue of George Wallace could survive a BLM march in Harlem.
