CLEVELAND, OH – Brietbart News indicates that the “blue check Twitter leftist mob” is rapidly and ferociously going after law firms that are helping the Trump campaign with election challenges. Their aim is to ruin their reputations and possibly put them out of business.
Yet, another tricky move in the left’s cancel culture war against anything they don’t agree with. And, they’re not stopping with just the law firms and their employees – they’re going after the firm’s clients, as well.
Jones Day, a prominent firm with its home base in Cleveland, has been frontally attacked in a merciless manner since it is the highest profile firm in the Trump campaign’s challenge efforts.
Rex Huppke, a Chicago Tribune columnist, called for the firm to be “dragged through the mud.”
Huppke said:
“Firms like @JonesDay and any others representing Trump in these outlandish election lawsuits should be dragged through the mud. Their other clients should know how Americans feel about firms willing to undermine our democracy. The PR shitstorm this stirs up should be blinding.”

Never Trump political action committee (PAC) The Lincoln Project announced it will launch a series of TV and digital ad campaigns to hammer law firms representing the Trump campaign, also targeting their clients.
Greg Sargent tweeted:
“@ProjectLincoln is launching a TV and social media campaign targeting @JonesDay for any role it plays in enabling Trump’s efforts to overturn the election, I’m told. Jones Day clients will also be targets.”

The Never Trumper PAC published images with contact information of individual attorneys, encouraging others to “make them famous,” followed by a skull and crossbones flag.
The PAC has nearly three million Twitter followers. The Tweet was censored and has since been deleted.
Rick Wilson, Lincoln Project co-founder and prominent Never Trumper, endorsed a tweet that read:
“Every one of the lawyers who Trump uses in [an] effort to suppress the vote should be exposed. Their firms should be held accountable.
“Corporate clients should be asked why they are working with lawyers who are trying to derail democracy. Hold them responsible.”

Anand Giridharadas, an MSNBC contributor, was also aggressive in his message:
“It’s high time for anyone who works at @JonesDay to condemn and combat your own firm’s assistance to Donald Trump’s election theft — or to resign.”

Tom Watson, Democratic strategist and journalist, wrote:
“Take note. Never forget.
“Please make note of their corporate clients and contact those companies about this anti-American effort.”
The firms of @JonesDay and @PorterWright are involved in the illegal effort to overthrow this election. Take note. Never forget. 🇺🇸

Slate correspondent Jordan Weissmann wrote:
“Anybody who continues to work at Jones Day should be utterly ashamed. You’re implicated.”

A couple of attorneys who work at Jones Day said they faced jeers from friends and others on social media about working for a firm that represents the president’s election efforts. A boycott website has been developed and a hashtag (#boycottjonesday) posted widely.
Jones Day advised Trump during his 2016 campaign and Don McGahn, Jones Day partner, was appointed as White House counsel in January 2017.
Adam Nash, Vice President of product & growth at Dropbox warned:
“The firms ‘should be worried’ as ‘their names will be tarnished for a decade or more’…”
These law firms should be worried. Their names will be tarnished for a decade or more. Jones Day. Porter Wright. https://t.co/MMW9CMIIyL

Kurt Eichenwald, a left-wing writer, attacked Porter Wright, another firm helping the president:
“If @PorterWright has no shame working on behalf of @TrumpTeam to throw out more than 100,000 votes of African Americans with a ridiculous lawsuit, then their willingness to undermine black suffrage should haunt them forever & deservedly destroy their reputation.”

Eichenwald went on to threaten both Porter Wright and Jones Day with violence:
“Here’s what’s going to happen: @JonesDay & @PorterWright lose their lawsuits attempting to overthrow American democracy. Angry millions still rage at them for decades.
“Or, they succeed in throwing out 1 million votes & overturn an election. Angry mobs head to their offices first.”

Jennifer Rubin, well-known liberal bedwetter and Trump hater, threatened any R (Republican) looking for a job on a corporate board or education faculty noting, “we have a list”:
“Any R now promoting rejection of an election or calling to not to follow the will of voters or making baseless allegations of fraud should never serve in office, join a corporate board, find a faculty position or be accepted into ‘polite’ society. We have a list.”

Although most of these messages sound like idle threats from spoiled children, these are grown adults living in our country, and able to carry out subversive efforts to manipulate the lives of the people they’re threatening. Chilling.

Far-left media outlet Slate joins call for revenge against certain Trump supporters
November 8, 2020
WASHINGTON, D.C.-As the newly elected President, Joe Biden took the stage for his victory speech and was quoted as saying, “This is the time to heal in America.”
Apparently, that only applies to people who did not support President Trump.
The wolves are now descending, and the main targets from Democrats and media outlets are Trump supporters, in particular, Senior White House adviser Stephen Miller.
Now, the far-left media outlet Slate has joined the pack and released an editorial demanding Senior White House adviser Stephen Miller be imprisoned.
A portion of the editorial states:
“But [Stephen Miller’s] also a man. And like all men who commit crimes against humanity, he should be imprisoned by the society he wounded, forever prevented from spreading his pestilence and fear. In a just world, this reckoning would happen right on Jan. 21.”
Slate is just the latest to attempt to ruin the reputations of anyone closely affiliated with Donald Trump and his presidency. The goal of Democrats and media outlets seems to be to blackball anyone who is a Trump ally.
Breitbart reported that on Friday, Nov. 6, Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) called for recriminations, not just against White House officials, but against all Trump supporters when she tweeted:
“Is anyone archiving these Trump sycophants for when they try to downplay or deny their complicity in the future? I foresee decent probability of many deleted Tweets, writings, photos in the future.”

Another one who came out of the woodwork was self-proclaimed member of the Obama administration, Michael Simon. Simon answered Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez’s Twitter post question with “yes we are,” and linked to a site called the Trump Accountability Project, which is posted here.

Breitbart reported that Washington Post staffers are also jumping on board. Left-wing Post columnist Jennifer Rubin is calling for anyone associated with the Trump administration to be blacklisted from holding a job and ostracized from “polite society.”
Any R now promoting rejection of an election or calling to not to follow the will of voters or making baseless allegations of fraud should never serve in office, join a corporate board, find a faculty position or be accepted into “polite” society. We have a list.

“Trump Accountability Project?”
Hitler and Stalin had lists. So, what do you plan to do with your list, AOC, Michael Simon, and Buttigieg camp? (This is what hate looks like.) @JoeBiden, care to weigh in? https://t.co/grnTFYB1GJ— GERI CARLSON (@GeriCarlson) November 8, 2020
Robert Reich tweeted two weeks ago:
“When this nightmare is over, we need a Truth and Reconciliation Commission.
“It would erase Trump’s lies, comfort those who have been harmed by his hatefulness, and name every official, politician, executive, and media mogul whose greed and cowardice enabled this catastrophe.”

Breitbart reported that late last month, the far-left Washington Post sought to clear up misconceptions about truth commissions. It concluded that one that held the Trump administration “accountable” would work with “strong, independent leadership, adequate resources and widespread public awareness, commissions — alongside other transitional justice measures — [and] have the potential to help societies publicly acknowledge past injustices.”
