The best way to destroy the civil society so that Marxist revolution is possible is by eliminating criminal deterrence.
For the past few years, George Soros-installed ‘prosecutors’ in America’s largest cities have worked to reduce sentences, toss cash bail, and just plain not charge perpetrators of certain crimes, all of which has contributed to a rise in violence and crime.
That result was preordained; nothing the Democrats do is by chance. Everything they do is calculated for effect. They have studied Marxist revolution for decades and they feel like now is the right time for it to occur.
So they are moving apace — every day, every hour, and in every way possible — to destroy civil society.
California’s Marxist Democrats are, of course, on the cutting edge of this revolution, as evidenced by legislative action taken by the state Assembly’s left-wing supermajority last week.
A California state assembly committee gave its stamp of approval on April 27 to legislation that would significantly soften sentences for people convicted of some firearm offenses, with proponents saying laws against using guns in the commission of crimes disproportionately affect people of color.
The Assembly Public Safety Committee voted 6-2 to approve the Anti-Racism Sentencing Reform Act, though the proposal still has several hurdles to clear before becoming law.
Get that? Under the lie of ‘combatting racism,’ California Democrats are literally and intentionally sacrificing the safety (and lives) of citizens by weakening firearm offenses.
Assemblyman Alex Lee claimed he hopped on board to co-sponsor this lunacy “to correct decades of harm done to communities of color” — never mind that these communities of color have a culture problem that Democrats enabled with their policies of dependence and then exploited for decades for votes.
As part of this charade, Lee’s office also created a “fact sheet” showing that sentencing ‘enhancements,’ such as tacking on years for using a gun in the commission of a crime, allegedly drives up incarceration rates leading to crowded prisons, which then serves as “a legal monument to racism.”
What BS; this is Lee’s office saying sentencing enhancements cause the crime which then leads to racism. Any rational human being looks at somebody who says something like that with bewilderment, but Democrats get away with it because a) the media is on their side as party propagandists; and b) people want to believe it because they don’t want to accept responsibility for what they do.
“If a gun is used during a violent felony offense – such as a robbery – California’s ‘10-20-Life’ gun enhancement applies,” said the ‘fact sheet’. “A 10-year enhancement is available for any use of a gun, which is increased to 20 years if the gun is discharged, and to 25-to-life if great bodily injury or death occurs.”
But AB 1509, which will pass because again, California is ruled by a Marxist Democrat supermajority, will get rid of the gun enhancements, “modifying them from 10-20-life to 1-2-3 years,” the Daily Wire notes.
In other words, to the extent that gun enhancements worked, all incentive to not use a gun to commit a crime will go out the window. The result? More guns used more often in crime; more Californians hurt or killed.
How’s that for a party that hates the Second Amendment?
Not all Californians have lost their minds, however.
Eric Siddall, the vice president of the Association of Deputy District Attorneys of Los Angeles County (ADDA), called the bill “devoid of reality,” adding that reducing sentencing that much would equate to “an inconsequential sentence.”
“In essence, the bill decriminalizes the use of a firearm in California for the most severe, most violent felonies,” Siddall told The Daily Wire. “What this bill would do is encourage violent criminals to use guns during their crime because the penalty is so insignificant.”
Exactly. But again, this is what the Democrats want: Chaos. Disorder. An end to the civil society. They can’t have a Marxist revolution without it.
